The biggest thing that innovative and creative people do is nurture their imagination.  The imagination is a very powerful tool.  Allow your mind to travel.  When we are imagining something, we tend to physically see the picture in our mind; this is called visualisation.

Look for similarities, not differences.  If you find yourself in a conflict with someone, look for your similarities.  Resist the urge to look at their differences.  Look for common ground.  I would rather talk about the similarities and what is universal in their experiences.

The world is flat and cross-culture living is growing.  We hear about discrimination of race, sex, age, religion, occupation, neighbourhood, educational background, and many others.  The majority of differentiation is caused by giving favourable treatment to people who share your characteristics.  Generally, people engage with peers who are culturally similar to themselves.  Globalisation continues to break down barriers.

On the journey of life, it is alright to make mistakes or to stop and ask for directions.  These are the moments that build character and teach us valuable and memorable lessons that will carve the path for the remainder of our journey.

Forget about past failures by telling yourself you are a different person now and you’ve learned from your mistakes. Success comes from making mistakes and learning from them.

Like gardens, children reflect the kind of care and nurturing they get. If we take the time to nurture our children in a positive gently way they will grow strong and bloom, just like flowers.

If we are rough with them, overbearing and don’t give them what they need to flourish they will never be their best.

We reap what we sow.
